Black dress is timeless, classic, chic and can be worn for any occasion throughout the year. We all need to have at least one black dress in our wardrobe. Although, I’m a big fan of color, I do own a few black dresses that I wear causally and one of them is for special occasions.
Wear it on its own with high heels
This is such a classic and elegant look and it doesn’t matter what is currently trending, this look is timeless. I had a brunch date and decided that I wanted to add a pop of color to my little black dress by wearing colorful high heels along with a peach thin belt to accentuate my waistline. I kept my accessories rather on the simple side with a clutch to pull the look together. This look can easily go from brunch to a date night.
Wear it with an ankle or high boot during the colder seasons
This is a perfect dress that can be layered with a simple jacket to keep it on the casual side or even a colorful leather jacket to give it an edgy look. In the fall and winter it can be worn with an ankle boot or a high boot. You don’t have to stick with black on black but rather brach out and add a pop of color when it comes to your shoes. If you want to stand out, than thats the way to go.
As you can see LBD has so many different dress up options to play with. It never goes out of style and you just need to find the right little black dress to add to your wardrobe. Or maybe you can add a couple of them in different material to switch them out. My black dresses have some type of design on them and are mostly on the casual side. This particular one is the only black dress that I own to date thats all black but has beautiful delicate flowers oblique through out the entire dress. I fell in love with it when I saw it online and even more so when I tried it on. It is such a girly, chic, and unique little black dress that I had to have it in my closet.
Here are some black dresses that I’m loving and are perfect for those special occasions and for the holidays coming up. You can pair them up with either pumps, booties or over the knee boots.
